The SoLEd Partnership gives students, teachers, and community leaders, the tools they need to respond to the biggest challenges that will dramatically impact our children’s future. With these tools, they can skillfully weigh and employ informed and thoughtful options for generations to come.
We use four operating frameworks — Education for Sustainability, Organizational Learning, Systems Thinking, and Youth Engagement — to create deep, systemic change in public education.
Members join a community of practice across the country that connects teachers, students, parents, business representatives, government leaders, and other local stakeholders interested in improving curriculum, instruction, and school organizations and in creating a sustainable future.
By linking local efforts to others happening simultaneously across the country, the SoL Education Partnership can facilitate opportunities for shared learning, exchange, reflection, and action and support local experiences within the context of a broader movement for social change.
