Mission
In an environment of mutual respect, the Byram Hills School District and its community will provide students with the means, the knowledge, and the opportunity to excel in order to become productive and responsible citizens of the twenty-first century.
Philosophy
The district philosophy, as expressed in the foreword of the Board of Education policy book, articulates the value of a free and public education, the importance of an informed citizenry, the objective of honoring each student as an individual, and the belief in lifelong learning.
Vision
As the Board of Education for the Byram Hills Central School District plans for the future, it seeks to provide a healthy and safe environment so students may achieve: academic excellence; social development; computer proficiency; global perspective; artistic enlightenment; physical fitness; and individual and cooperative learning skills.
